Donald Glover has had to postpone several dates of the final Childish Gambino tour because of an apparent foot injury.
The rest of the North American leg of the tour, which was set to run through Oct. 12, is currently up in the air because of the injury, and may have to be canceled, reports Billboard.
While other shows have yet to be officially postponed, the Forum in Los Angeles announced that Glover would no longer be able to perform at the arena on Wednesday night.
“Tomorrow’s Childish Gambino show at the Forum has been postponed,” the venue announced on Twitter. “Tickets will be valid at the newly scheduled date when announced. Thank you.”
Fam Rothstein — a co-principal of the creative agency Wolf + Rothstein, which Glover is a part of – stressed on Twitter that the “This is America” dates were only being postponed, not canceled.
“This is America tour is postponed, not canceled,” he tweeted. “My guy played through the pain, but has to sit some dates out. Back before the years over.”
News of the postponement comes days after Glover walked off the stage in Dallas 30 minutes before his concert was supposed to end.
TMZ later reported that the rapper had been spotted in a wheelchair before performing at the iHeartRadio festival in Las Vegas last Friday.
During the first “This is America” date in Atlanta, Glover announced that the tour would be his last as Childish Gambino.
A rep for Glover did not respond to a request for comment.
