Son of limo company operator taken into custody over deadly crash

State police have taken an operator of the limo company involved in Saturday’s upsate crash into custody — and he’s likely to face criminal charges in the 20 deaths, according to reports Wednesday.

The person in custody is a son of Prestige Limousine owner and former FBI informant Shahed Hussain, company lawyer Lee Kindlon told the Albany Times Union.

Kindlon expects his client to be charged with criminally negligent homicide, according to a tweet from Spectrum News Albany.

One of Hussain’s sons, Nauman Hussain, met with state police investigators for several hours on Monday, the Times Union has reported.
