Disabled vet drives a mechanical horse around town

Dubbed the Cranford Cowboy, this New Jersey resident built himself a mechanical horse that he uses to get around town. “My wife said I couldn’t have a real-life horse in Cranford, didn’t say anything about a mechanical horse,” he told The Post. Steve Bacque developed Western-themed toys in Texas before moving to the Garden State. Bacque, a disabled vet, hopes to manufacture and operate motor ponies across the country in the future in partnership with other veterans who have developmental disabilities.
