Quincy Enunwa is sticking around.
The Jets announced Friday afternoon they had signed the wide receiver to a contract extension. The deal is for four years and $36 million, a source told The Post.
“I knew when I got here that I wanted to be a Jet for a very long time,” Enunwa said, according a Jets release. “Now I’ll get my opportunity and it feels really good.”
The 26-year-old will miss the final game of the season with an ankle injury and finishes the year with 38 receptions for 449 yards and a touchdown.
He played in just 11 games this season and has not played since Week 14, but the Jets clearly want to stabilize the receiving corps around developing rookie quarterback Sam Darnold, and they believe Enunwa will help them do that.
Enunwa was a sixth-round pick in the 2014 draft and has played his entire career with the Jets.
